Abstract :
Supportive Periodontal Care forms the backbone of a successful periodontal therapy. Nevertheless, it is the most neglected part of our treatment continuum. Some specialists may find too little satisfaction in it and some general dentist may find too much uncertainty. This lecture hopes to extract some useful information from the new EFP guidelines and address practicalities of daily periodontal maintenance care in general clinics.
