Following recent media reports, FDI World Dental Federation (FDI) would like to clarify Bahrain will host an FDI Regional Congress in 2028, not the FDI World Dental Congress. The Regional Congress will bring together dental professionals and stakeholders from across the region for scientific exchange, professional development and collaboration.

The FDI Regional Congress is distinct from the FDI World Dental Congress, FDI’s flagship global event, which brings together the international dental community.

The host destination for the FDI World Dental Congress 2028 has not yet been announced. FDI looks forward to sharing further details in the coming months.
