Climate change is a pressing reality affecting both our planet and public health. Every sector and individual has a responsibility to act now to protect our environment and ensure a healthy future for generations to come.
To address this, FDI's Sustainability in Dentistry project raises awareness about the environmental impact of the dental profession and engages with stakeholders to reduce the ecological footprint of dental interventions.
In particular, the FDI Sustainability in Dentistry Award honours dental teams and individuals who have successfully implemented sustainable initiatives within their practices as Sustainability Champions, providing global recognition for their outstanding efforts.
Seize the opportunity to win a Sustainability Award
The Sustainability Award celebrates and rewards those who can demonstrate that they implemented environmentally friendly practices within their dental practice. Each year, a maximum of four awards are granted: two for dental teams, each receiving CHF 1000, and two for individuals, each receiving CHF 500. The winners will be announced during the FDI World Dental Congress, held in Istanbul in September 2024.
