Ass. Prof. Ahmed Elsharkawy

Dr. Ahmed Elsharkawy is working as Associate professor at the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University. He accomplished his Postdoc in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Georgia Regent University, GA, USA. He is a member of the EAOMS and AOCMF. Dr. Ahmed is an international speaker, he published multiple research work in OMS and got fellowship in Glasgow University as a prize for best poster presentation, and AOCMF fellowship in Maryland Medical Center In Baltimore, USA.

Dental implant placement is an established procedure in dental practice for several decades, However, availability of enough bone for implants placement is questionable. In order to regenerate bone we need to understand bone Biology, different techniques and materials for bone regeneration. In this webinar we are going to discuss different options for bone regeneration, present our research work in PRF and MPM, and show recent trends of alternative techniques.
