Abstract:

The increasing demand for clear aligners therapy (CAT) in the orthodontic practice has made it an important tool to master its technique. This basic course will help provide a strong foundation in understanding the elementary principles of orthodontic tooth movements by CAT, case selection criteria, and the most efficient digital set-up design.

Learning objectives :

  • Understand the general factors that influence CAT force delivery.
  • Identify criteria of case selection 
  • Outline different attachment systems and explore digital set-up design
  • Detect tracking and recognize the most common causes of non-tracking
  • Understand recent advancement in Aligner Therapy
